our company and services
elume, formerly Prospector Lighting Supply, was started in 2006. We supply all lighting – residential and commercial, interior and exterior, and every type and style of lighting. We do not try to “stock” fixtures mainly because each job is unique and deserves the fixtures to be hand selected specifically for that job! We offer custom-designed fixtures, as well. We have numerous custom shops that we work with to provide customized lighting.

- Jennifer Brassey was born in Idaho Falls, ID. She graduated from Utah State University in Logan, UT, in 1984 with a degree in Business Administration Marketing. She worked for Boise Cascade in the management trainee program directly after that for 4 years as a contractor salesperson, and then she worked for Caffall Tile & Marble for 16 years selling granite, tile, and solid surfaces.
- Jennifer has a complete understanding of the construction process. While working for Boise Cascade, she was a contractor salesperson who did plan take-offs, field measurements, and cabinet designs. As a management trainee, she also learned the retail aspect, accounting, warehouse (driving a forklift), and delivery -- even unloading shingles off a conveyer on a roof! During her tenure at Caffall Tile, she also ran a construction office in Park City, Utah -- handling draws, accounts receivable and payable, taxes and payroll.
- Jennifer was extensively involved in the Junior League of Salt Lake City with many directorships and board positions. She also has served on many committees and on the board for the Park City Area Home Builders Association. Jennifer is presently the President of the Mountain States Chapter of the National Kitchen and Bath Association and has served on the board of this organization for a number of years.
- Transition into the lighting industry was an easy progression with her understanding of building plans, construction terms and processes, and experience coordinating all members involved. Also it has been good to stay within the construction industry, as the players are familiar!
- An avid skier, she was a ski instructor during college at Beaver Mountain and then at Park West Ski Area for seven years after that, even teaching skiing for a season in New Zealand at Cardrona Ski Resort. Jennifer also enjoys mountain biking, water skiing, cooking (and eating!), shopping, traveling, and socializing. She's always up for an adventure -- whether it's a new biking trail or a new recipe.
- Anne Yates is from Bountiful, Utah. She graduated from Utah State University in 1979 with a degree in Home Economics Education. In 1997, she received her degree in Interior Design from Salt Lake Community College where she later taught Intro to Interior Design and Business of Interior Design classes. Anne has operated and owned her own Interior Design Business since 1985. She started in the window coverings and drapery business first, while adding floor coverings, wall coverings and paint, space planning, furniture, and lighting as time progressed. She designed, constructed and installed all draperies and soft window coverings that she sold until the business grew to the point where she outsourced the work. Eventually, Anne was hired to design and supply all aspects of a hotel in Salt Lake City. The education and experience earned in the design field, both residentially and commercially, has been a bonus for her lighting career. For the past 20 years, she worked for Galaxie Lighting where she gained immense knowledge of the lighting industry and developed a loyal clientele. She joined Jennifer in 2010 in sales at ēlume.
- Anne enjoys travel, reading, sports, cooking and of course, eating! The relationships developed with family, friends and clients are a large part of her life. She is always "up" for a new challenge so ēlume is something that has her heart and attention!
- Cora Stjernholm, originally from Colorado Springs, moved to Utah only two weeks after graduating from Colorado State University to work for Ferguson Enterprises. In college she studied Fine Arts concentrating in Painting and then studied Business concentrating in Economics, Nutrition, and Agriculture. In 2008 Cora completed the American Lighting Association's Lighting Specialist certificate program and, in just over two years, had a lead role in developing a profitable lighting showroom in Park City. Cora is now an independent contractor and outside salesperson for ēlume serving designers, builders, and clients in Park City and Salt Lake. She will work with them to select and source lighting fixtures as well as meet on job sites to determine lighting needs, help with the electrical plans, design custom lighting systems and even to sketch and design custom lighting fixtures!
- Cora is the ASID Intermountain Professional Development Director and is an ALA Lighting Specialist. Cora also enjoys
snowboarding, mountain biking, painting, healthy cooking, and gardening.
- Michele Johnson was born in New York and grew up on Long Island. Moving to

the beach. She received her Associates degree in Business Management from

career school as an Interior Decorator. Her lighting career began at Expo
Design Center where she discovered her love for lighting and it's important
